while there is still free images out there its all a matter of are they already placed in the library or do you have to place them yourself. While I do understand your position its still a pretty viable program for writers like yourself as the biggest complaint in the art is that it is not close enough. I’ll probably play around with it a little longer and post a review stating that it is a great program for artists that are interested in making a VN but that it’s pretty much useless for people like me at the moment. The program is easy to use and I like the UI but I can't really do much with it at the moment, I guess I'll wait and see if a solution comes along.

I consider myself to be a good writer that can come up with interesting stories in a fantasy/mystery setting.īut I definitely can’t design characters and backgrounds, I simply don’t have the time or skill to do that.Īnd yes, it's good that there are sites that help you a bit with this problem but you would still have to find out what kind of license each one of these images will have before you use it.Īpart from that you'll have to translate many sites before you can use them because they're mostly in Japanese of course. I'm a writer that's currently working on a book and I already have 255 pages on that but I'm not an artist. If you can't do that or simply don't have the time, you can't really get started with a serious project. It's made for people that can actually design their own characters, backgrounds etc. Now I see that I'm not going to be able to make something serious with this.
